Refund policy

(Effective 2026)

Returns & Eligibility

We accept returns only for items that are faulty, damaged in transit, or incorrectly supplied.

We do not offer refunds for:

  • Change of mind

  • Incorrect selection

  • Compatibility issues

  • Incorrect variant chosen

Items must be:

  • Unused and uninstalled

  • In original packaging

  • In resaleable condition

  • Accompanied by proof of purchase

Electrical items including (but not limited to):

  • ECUs

  • Sensors

  • Wiring harnesses

  • Control modules

  • Electronic accessories

are non-returnable unless confirmed faulty by the manufacturer.

Items that have been installed, modified, tuned, or used will not be eligible for return.

Items returned without prior approval will not be accepted.

 

Special Order & Supplier-Direct Items

Many of our products are supplied to order.

Special order, custom order, or supplier-direct items cannot be cancelled or returned once the order has been placed with the supplier, except where required under Australian Consumer Law.

By placing an order, you acknowledge that certain items may require extended lead times and may not be eligible for cancellation once processing has begun. Estimated dispatch timeframes are provided as a guide only and may vary depending on supplier availability.

 

Exchanges

Exchanges may be approved at our discretion.

Where an exchange is approved:

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer

  • Re-shipping costs for the replacement item are the responsibility of the customer

  • A 15% restocking fee may apply

Restocking fees are calculated based on the original purchase price (including GST).

 

Refund Process

  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method

  • Processing time is typically within 5–10 business days

  • Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to finalise the refund

  • Refunds will not be issued until returned goods have been received and inspected and deemed fit for refund.

Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a confirmed fault.

Returns Process

If you need to return a product, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.

We require the following details to process your return:

  • Full name and address

  • Product name and part number (if applicable)

  • Invoice number

  • Date of purchase

  • Reason for return

Returns must be pre-approved. We will confirm the preferred return method (post or courier) based on the item. Goods must be in unused condition unless returning under warranty for a performance issue.

If the issue is due to an error by Velocity Performance Pty Ltd or a manufacturing fault, we will re-supply the goods freight-free upon return.

 

Warranty Claims

Items suspected to be faulty will undergo inspection. If needed, the product will be sent to the original supplier or manufacturer for further assessment. This process is essential for a formal warranty claim.

 

Store Cancellation Rights

Velocity Performance Pty Ltd reserves the right to cancel any order at any time prior to delivery for any of the following reasons:

  • A supplier is unable to supply goods that were previously promised.

  • An event outside of our control (e.g., fire, flood, power failure, war, strike) affects our ability to supply the goods within a reasonable timeframe.

  • There was a significant error on our website, such as a pricing, description, or image issue that wasn’t identified before the order was placed.

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
