Shipping policy
1. Order Processing & Dispatch
Many of our products are supplied to order.
In-stock items are typically dispatched within 3–5 business days.
Special order or supplier-direct items may require additional lead time prior to dispatch. Estimated dispatch timeframes vary depending on supplier availability and are provided as a guide only.
If there is a delay or backorder, we will notify you via email with an updated timeframe.
Business days exclude weekends and public holidays.
2. Shipping Methods & Rates
We ship Australia-wide using Australia Post and approved freight providers.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on flat-rate structures determined by item size, weight category, and delivery location.
For oversized or bulky items, freight may vary depending on destination and carrier requirements.
Where necessary, we reserve the right to contact the customer prior to dispatch to confirm any required freight adjustments.
For large, heavy, or oversized items, additional freight charges may apply. If required, we will contact you prior to dispatch to confirm any adjustments.
3. Special Order items
Certain products are ordered specifically for the customer after purchase.
By placing an order, you acknowledge that:

4. Delivery Timeframes
Delivery estimates are provided by the shipping carrier and are not guaranteed.
Once dispatched, transit time is dependent on the selected carrier and destination.
Velocity Performance Pty Ltd is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, weather events, or circumstances beyond our control.
5. Tracking & Delivery Responsibility
Tracking details will be provided once your order has been dispatched (where applicable).
Customers are responsible for monitoring tracking updates and ensuring accurate delivery information is provided at checkout.
6. Authority To Leave (ATL)
If you authorise the carrier to leave the parcel unattended (Authority to Leave), you accept responsibility for the parcel once marked as delivered.
We are not liable for loss, theft, or damage after confirmed delivery where ATL has been granted.
7. Incorrect Address Information
Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping details.
We are not responsible for delays, losses, or additional charges resulting from incorrect or incomplete address information.
If a parcel is returned due to incorrect details, additional shipping charges will apply.
8. Large, Heavy & Palletised Items
Large or heavy items (including engines, transmissions, exhaust systems, and similar freight) may:

Require a commercial business address

Require forklift access

Incur additional freight charges

Be shipped via pallet freight
Residential deliveries for large items may attract additional fees or depot collection requirements.
9. Lost or Damaged Parcels
If your parcel arrives damaged, you must contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:

Photos of the packaging

Photos of the damaged item

Your order number
We will lodge a claim with the freight provider where applicable. Resolution timeframes are subject to carrier investigation processes.
10. Order Consolidation
Orders containing multiple items may be held and dispatched together once all items are available.
If partial shipment is requested, additional freight charges may apply.
11. Local Pickup
Local pickup may be available at our workshop location by appointment.
Customers will be notified when their order is ready for collection.
